"There are very old records from Shoreham (where larvae fed on sea purslane) and Lancing. The first East Sussex record came from Eastbourne in 1929 (where larvae were found on goosefoot on waste land). Nationally the moth appears largely during May, and again during July and August (Pratt, 2011)."
