A resident that is increasing. The moth usually occurs singly or sparingly in a wide range of habitats at mv light, although it is sometimes fairly common at St Leonards and abundant at Arundel. It is double-brooded, flying mainly from mid May to mid June and again from mid July to the third week of August, although adults have been seen in almost every week from the second week of May to early September. The larvae feed on hemp agrimony. (Pratt, 2011).
