Resident. Occurs singly at mv light in a few places in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late June to the third week of July. Adults flew chiefly during late July at Eastbourne during the early years of the 20th century. Larvae are said to feed on elm. (Pratt, 2011)
