Resident. Occurs sparingly or fairly commonly to mv light in a few places in West Sussex; undetected in East Sussex since the last listing in 1905. Single-brooded, flying chiefly from mid June to late August. Larvae feed on the (shoots and) seed-capsules of stitchwort (Pratt, 2011).
