In late 19th century this species was recorded from Lancing and in the early 20th century it was recorded at Shoreham, where sea plantain was the foodplant.The only modern record is from Walberton on 19th September, 2000. Nationally the insect is double-brooded, flying during June and July, and again in September (Pratt, 2011).
