First identified in Sussex from larvae collected on Chenpodium at Thorney Island and bred out in 1995. A single larva was also found at Thorney on October 10th, 2001. Larvae also recorded at Pagham Harbour in October 1997 and Sidlesham in October, 2003. An adult was seen at Pagham on September 28th 2004 (Pratt, 2011).
