: 2Adult: Can be confused with other species

There are very old records from Ditchling Common and North Mundham, where larvae fed on dyer's greenweed. The only modern records concern larvae found on dyer's greenweed on Thorney Island in late spring in 1980,1982,1997 and 2007, and one adult there on 27th August 2009. Also 'many' larvae found at Bullock Down, near Eastbourne on 27th May 1995. (Pratt,2011)
