A resident species usually occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in a few places across the region, although both larvae and adults are sometimes common by day. Apparently triple-brooded, flying mainly from mid-April to mid-May, during the last three weeks of June and from late July to late August. Larvae feed on dyer's greenwood, broom and laburnum.
