Nationally Scarce A

A very rare moth that is in serious danger of extinction in West Sussex and is unrecorded in East Sussex. It is extremely local and usually occurs on heathland at Ambersham where it was last recorded in 1997. It is double-brooded, although adults have been recorded during every month from June to September inclusive. The larvae feed on sun-dew. (Pratt, 2011).
