Nationally Scarce B
A scarce, Nationally Notable moth which inhabits a wide range of habitats including heathland, vegetated shingle beaches, woodland and downland. It is very local and irregular in appearance and is single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to mid August. The larvae feed on rest harrow along the coast. (Pratt, 2011).
