Local

Resident but scarce in both vice-counties. Victorian colonies were known from Hurston Warren, Guestling, Abbot's Wood and the Haslemere area. In recent times it has been seen again at Abbot's Wood, and at Ifield and Storrington. Adults fly in late June and early July. Larvae feed on oak. (Pratt, 2011).
