Common
A resident species, widespread, occurring singly at mv light in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late July to early October and then after hibernation from early April to early June.. Larvae feed on the flowers and seeds of wild parsnip and hogweed. (Pratt, 2011)
