Common

Resident. Often fairly common to common and sometimes abundant by day in a few places in both vice-counties. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early May to mid June. Larvae feed on (the seeds and stems of) cock's-foot, and in the spikes of other grasses. (Pratt, 2011).
