Local

A resident species, usually occurring singly at mv light in a few places in both vice-counties, although occasionally common at Warnham. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early July to early September. Larvae feed inside the stems of club-rush and burr-reed, and are also said to feed on flag and reed-meadow grass. (Pratt, 2011)
