Common

A resident that usually occurs singly or sparingly at mv light in a wide range of habitats in both vice-counties. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to the third week of August, occasionally from late May. The larvae feed on hawthorn and mountain ash. (Pratt, 2011).
