Resident. Generally occurs sparingly by day and at mv light in both vice-counties, although it is occasionally common at Marley Common. Probably increasing. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late July, occasionally from early May or to late August. Larvae feed on oak. (Pratt, 2011)
