Resident. Occurs singly at mv light on a few heathery commons in both vice-counties. Scarce and in decline. Single brooded flying mainly during July, in the early 20th Century adults were found in May and June in the Eastbourne area. The larvae feed inside the shoots of sallow. (Pratt,2011)
