Larval leaf mines on Norway maple were identified in 1996 and 1999 at Rewell Wood, and at Stansted Forest in 2000 and they were common at Stopham Bridge in 2008 and 2009. Mines were also identified in East Sussex on the same foodplant at Heathfield in 1997 and near St Helen's Wood in 2009. Nationally double-brooded, adults flying mainly during May and August. (Pratt, 2011).
