Resident. Larvae generally occur singly or sparingly in both vice-counties, although they are sometimes common at Woods Mill. Widespread in the west, but colonies seem scarce in the east. Double-brooded, flying mainly during May and August. Larvae feed on field maple. (Pratt, 2011).
