Nationally Scarce B

Resident. Rare, and in danger of extinction in East Sussex; undetected in West Sussex since it was last listed in 1905.
Single-brooded, flying mainly during June and July, although this has yet to be confirmed in Sussex.
Larvae feed on (the bark of) gorse and dwarf gorse. (Pratt, 2011)
