Common

Resident. Larvae occur singly or sparingly in a few deciduous woods in both vice-counties. Double-brooded, flying mainly during May and August.
Larvae feed on sallow, including grey sallow. A leaf mine, apparently from the Eastbourne area has been illustrated in monochrome, (Pratt, 2011)
