Phyllonorycter lantanella (Schrank, 1802)

Resident. Larvae generally singly or sparingly on the chalk downs in both vice-counties, although they are sometimes fairly common on acid soils.
Double-brooded, flying mainly during May and August, although this has yet to be confirmed in Sussex. Larvae feed on wayfaring-tree, the related ornamental garden shrub Viburnum tinus, and rowan. (Pratt, 2011)
