Phyllonorycter blancardella sensu Pierce & Metcalfe, 1935 nec (Fabricius, 1781)
Phyllonorycter cydoniella sensu auctt. nec ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Previously incorrectly identified as P. cydoniella. A unspecified record appears on a distribution map of Hath and Emmet (1985), since then four adults were bred from apple leaves collected from Friston Forest in 1983. Also recorded at Hindleap Warren in 1983 and Hurst Green in 1996. Nothing more is known of the species in the county. (Pratt, 2011)
