Common
Resident. In West Sussex larvae occur sparingly in a few woods in the north; in East Sussex the species has only been detected on Ashdown Forest.
Double-brooded, flying mainly from late April into May and again in August, although this has yet to be confirmed from Sussex experience.
Larvae feed on rowan. (Pratt, 2011)
