Common

A resident species, usually occurring singly, occasionally sparingly by day and at mv light in open habitats. Sometimes fairly common at Warnham. Widespread. Double-brooded, flying mainly from late April to late May and again more frequently from mid-July to late August. Larvae feed on ribwort plantain. (Pratt, 2011)
