Presumed extinct, last detected in West Sussex in 1998 and East Sussex in 1999. The species occurred singly in a wide range of habitats and occasionally in pairs to mv light on the vegetated shingle at Rye. Single brooded, flying mainly from late June to late July and again during the middle weeks of September. The larval foodplant in the wild is not know in this country. (Pratt, 2011)
