This species is presumed extinct in the west of the county and is very rare in the east, where it was last seen near deciduous woodland in 2006. A single brooded species, flying from late September to early November, and again after hibernation from mid-March to mid-May. The larval foodplant has not been confirmed in this county but is known to be oak elsewhere. (Pratt, 2011)
