A resident species common to very common on a wide range of habitats across the county and occasionally abundant at mv light in its principal districts. Well distributed, perhaps generally so. A single brooded species flying from the second week in September to late October. The larval foodplants are grasses (as yet unspecified). (Pratt, 2011)
