A widespread resident that usually occurs singly at mv light, sometimes sparingly, in a wide range of habitats in both vice-counties. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late August, occasionally to late September. The larvae feed on the buds and shoots of ash. (Pratt, 2011).
