Local

Resident. Nationally Notable. Both adults and larvae occur singly amongst shrubby woodland in both halves of the county. Under-recorded in the east. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to early September. Larvae feed on fungus living on dead hazel wood. (Pratt, 2011)
