A resident that generally occurs singly at mv light across the county, although it is occasionally seen sparingly at Icklesham. It is single-brooded, flying mainly for a short period during August until intermittent hibernation, and then again from late February to mid May. The larvae feed on spindle. (Pratt, 2011).
