A resident species usually occurring singly or sparingly, but sometimes fairly common at mv light amongst woodland and on heaths in the north of the county. Rare along the coast. Single-brooded flying chiefly between the second week of June and the second week of September. Larvae feed on chickweed. (Pratt, 2011)
