A resident that often occurs sparingly or fairly commonly but it is sometimes common at mv light in a wide range of habitats. Probably generally distributed away from the north-east. Chiefly double-brooded, flying mainly from late May to early July and agian from late July to the second week of September, although a partial third emergence also occasionally appears in late September. Adults have been seen in every week from early April to late September. Larvae feed on Bedstraw. (Pratt, 2011)
