Common

A resident species, usually occurring sparingly or fairly commonly at mv light in gardens and waste places, but sometimes common in a few spots. Double-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late July, and infrequently again during September. Larvae feed on stinging nettle. (Pratt, 2011).
