Common

A resident species, usually occurring singly or sparingly at mv light in a wide range of habitats; probably generally distributed on the chalk between Eastbourne and Arundel and along parts of the coast where it is occasionally common. Increasing. Single-brooded, flying mainly from mid-July to late August. Larvae feed on a wide variety of herbaceous plants. (Pratt, 2011).
