Local

A resident species, usually occurring singly or sparingly, although locally very common at mv light on the Downs. Colonies are well distributed on the chalk but scarce elsewhere. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late July. Larvae feed on cow-wheat, louse-wort and yellow rattle. (Pratt, 2011).
