Nationally Scarce B

A resident species, usually occurring sparingly, but sometimes common in a few reed-beds; in danger of extinction in the East and there only known from the St Leonards area. Single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late June. Larvae feed elsewhere on sedges. (Pratt, 2011).
