Local

Resident. Occurs sometimes fairly commonly at light in a wide range of habitats, the downs and the coast being especially favoured. Well distributed. Single-brooded, flying mainly from the second week of June to late August. Larvae feed on sloe, hawthorn and cotoneaster. (Pratt, 2011).
