Nationally Scarce B

Resident. The moth usually occurs singly or sparingly amongst deciduous woodland and on heathery commons. Widespread, but local. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to late July, occasionally from mid May. The larval foodplant has yet to be determined in Sussex, although oak has been listed elsewhere. (Pratt, 2011).
