Nationally Scarce B

A very scarce resident found in both vice-counties. It has been recorded three times since 1990 and has been reported at mv light, as larvae and has been netted in the late afternoon. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from June to September. The larvae are thought to feed on the flowers of hawthorn and sloe. (Pratt, 2011).
