Common

A resident that generally occurs singly or sparingly at mv light amongst pine plantations and on heathland across the county. It is occasionally fairly common at Vert Wood. The species is single-brooded, flying mainly from late May to mid July, occasionally from late April or to late July. The larvae feed on the shoots of Scots pine. (Pratt, 2011).
