Common

A resident that usually occurs singly at mv light, occasionally sparingly, in a few colonies in a wide range of habitats across the county. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from mid June to the third week of August, occasionally from early June. The species has been long associated with wild rose although the larvae have so far only been proven to feed in the shoots of cultivated varieties. (Pratt, 2011).
