Common

A widespread resident that usually only occurs singly in both vice-counties, although it is sometimes fairly common at mv light in a range of different habitats. It is single-brooded, flying mainly from the second week of June to the third week of August. The larvae feed on the seed-heads of hoary ragwort and on the roots-stems and flowerheads of common ragwort. (Pratt, 2011).
