Local
A resident that occurs singly on a very few heathery commons in both vice-counties. It is double-brooded flying mainly from May to August. Two forms occur, one with a grey forewing named subarcuana and the brown form called diminutana. The larvae feed on creeping willow. (Pratt, 2011).
