Common

Resident. Usually occurs sparingly in a wide range of habitats but it is often fairly common to common at mv light along parts of the coast in both vice-counties. Generally distributed in large areas. Single-brooded, flying mainly from early June to mid September, occasionally from late May or to the third week of September. Larvae feed on the roots of dandelion. (Pratt, 2011).
