Common
Resident. Usually occurs sparingly at mv light although it is occasionally fairly common to common in woods in both vice-counties. Probably under-recorded due to potential confusion with similar species. In decline. Double-brooded, flying mainly from late May to late July, occasionally to mid August. Larvae feed on honeysuckle, whortleberry, (silver) birch, and rowan. (Pratt, 2011).
