Aethes francillonana (Humphreys & Westwood, 1845)
A resident species usually found in coastal habitats. It has been found up to five miles inland. .It occurs in low numbers at mv light and is single-brooded, flying mainly from the second week of June to mid August. The larvae feed on the seed-heads of wild carrot. (Pratt, 2011).
