Nationally Scarce A

A rare resident of East Sussex that is in danger of extinction. It is only found in woodland rides and clearings at Beckley. It is extremely local and episodic in appearance. It is single-brooded, flying mainly during the second half of June. The larvae feed in the stems of golden rod. (Pratt, 2011).
