Common

A resident species, generally occurring singly at mv light, occasionally sparingly, chiefly in the south of both vice-counties. Single- brooded, flying mainly from mid-July to mid-September, and then again after hibernation to mid-June. Larvae feed on great willowherb. (Pratt, 2011).
