Local
A resident species, whose larvae occur sparingly and adults singly at mv light in a wide range of habitats in both vice-counties, although apparently scarce in the West. Single-brooded, flying mainly from mid-May to late June. Larvae feed on hawthorn and sloe. (Pratt, 2011)
